El, there was talk of police enforcing a “no parking on the pavements” up here but, it might actually cause more problems. With families often having three cars where I live, someone always has to park in the street and if they didn’t park half on the pavement, larger vehicles like the farmer’s tractor, local buses, fire engines, ambulances etc would struggle to get through.
I do appreciate the problems the pavement parking can cause for people with larger/double buggies and wheelchairs.
