I was just listening to that story on Money Box on Radio 4 El
Although £35 a month does seem low for a 2 bedroom terraced house, if they were with Extra Energy for 2 and a half years (I'm basing this on what's mentioned in the article) the total cost works out at £2,192 a year which is absurdly high (more than 5 times what she was paying a month).
