and turkeys don't come from Turkey. They were originally from Mexico, they were transported by ship by people who worked for the Turkey Company which originated in Turkey. They were known as Turkey Merchants.

Brussel sprouts were originally grown in the Mediterranean area but were later cultivated near Brussels.

I knew there was something about Brussel sprouts but couldn't think what it was
