I tend to be a bit wary of pineapple cakes. Some of them are very nice, but I find that some of them can have a rather odd taste which I don't like, a sort of chemical taste.
At the fairtrade stall in church I bought a packet of organic sundried mango pieces a couple of months ago. According to the list of ingredients, it was 100% mango with zero additives. Yet when I ate them to me there was an unpleasant metallic taste to them.
