Former Member Thank you Velvet,, what an intriguing article [ I haven't seen The Times since they put up the paywall]. [ more ]
Mount Olympus *Olly* what I can't understand, and is the bit that sticks out the most for me in that report, is that if one of their friends went back to check on her own kids wouldn't you check on all your friends kids too at the same time? That to me would be at least a half sensible set up to have if you are going to leave your kids alone and unsupervised while you all go off gallivanting [ more ]

Royal mail/Ebay help
Former Member "We have been notified that your item is being shipped by the retailer; the next scan will appear when we receive this item." This happens when a dishonest international seller tries to list the item being sold as a UK stock, but actually is in another country such as Australia where RoyalMail also presents and do business. They do ship out tho, but it takes a lot longer than a UK seller. [ more ]

Cold Sweat Not back to his best but still the best on clay. [ more ]
Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing Yes, now that it's come down to Nadal v Ferrer. I feel Nadal NOT at his best is still grater than what Ferrer has produced so far. Though admittedly I haven't seen as much of Ferrer as I have of Nadal. [ more ]
El Loro I think it's more than likely that Nadal will win today's final. Latest odds are 1/9 for a Nadal win and 13/2 for a Ferrer win. [ more ]

Soozy Woo Talking of blankets - I remember as a kid we had what felt like hundreds of blankets on the bed - it was hard to get up in the mornings with the weight of them. I guess it was a cold house no central heating etc. When I was about 11 or 12 I went to stay at a friends hose for the first time - her mum said 'wold you like one blanket or two?' I was thought I was gonna die from hypothermia or something. Looking back it wa probably the first time I became aware stuff like central heating. She was... [ more ]
