El Loro England avoided the ignominy of going in the list of 100 worst test innings scores thanks to Stokes and Butler. All oot for 123. West Indies require 192 runs to win. Not a huge target and plenty of time to get the runs but not an easy wicket to bat on. [ more ]
El Loro In the third test England's second innings overnight score is 39 for 5. Need another 7 runs to avoid England's lowest ever Test innings score. Need to get over 80 to avoid being in the list of 100 worst innings scores. Subject to weather, looks unlikely that the match will go beyond the third day. [ more ]

Enthusiastic Contrafibularities Having thought it through I would have said NO, no way would I eat anything off the floor, but, I realise that I have and do on the odd occasion. Only in my home and not in the bathroom or kitchen, but if a piece of chocolate hits the floor I do pick it up and eat it. Mainly because chocolate as we all know has an antibacterial defence of around 1000 years, so I feel confident eating it. But no other foods. [ more ]

Had the Tory Party been in office at the time, we'd have still gone to war. The Tory party were more supportive of Blair's Iraq war than MPs of the Labour Party.
