I think it likely that it looks OK to you as the images, or whatever is in your post, are in your email folder and are stored on your computer or phone. The rest of us can't see them.

You could do a google search to see if you can find what you are posting on the web.

I don't do FB, but if it is just a picture then it should be, I believe, just the same as from any other site.

Have you tried a picture hosting site, like Tiny Pic?

Saint I've tried in the past to post pics or vids from FB to here and it's never worked. With vids though if there's no youtube logo on it you can try to c&p the title of the vid if it's mentioned and search on YT for it, good luck

Saint, Facebook must have seen your post here and announced yesterday that it will now let people embed video clips on other websites.

This article explains how to do it:

Note that you can only embed clips where the privacy setting has been set to public. You won't be able to embed other clips.

 

If you are able to copy the embedding code when you paste it here don't pasted it in the ordinary Post Reply screen as that won't work. On the Post Reply screen click on the HTML icon at the far right of the row of icons. You then get to the HTML source editor. If there's lines of code already there, go to the end of the code and press the enter key to get to a new line. Then paste the embed code (Ctrl V on pcs). Click on the Update button to return to the normal Post Reply screen. You should see a similar box as with embedding Youtube clips. Then submit reply as normal and if it's worked you should see the embedded clip.
