Good to see people in here again, I was starting to think everyone had gone

 

Yeah, I've been remiss too - i blame the dark (and the attention span of a goldfish..)

 

I've got a thing about wind turbines.. I love them.. they make me smile.     I live not too far from this one - the biggest in the world I believe.  200 mtr tip to tip - when you're up close to it, it's big, but somehow not quite so impressive as when you see it from a distance.  Check out the relative size of the houses in front of it.

Well yesterday was the end of month 6 for me Have got a couple more to share, though I feel like I'm only giving you boring ones

 

February 1 - goats cheese salad, with slightly more goats cheese than I was expecting It's still healthy though right, cos it's a salad?

 

 

 

February 2 - Police and ambulances at the station this morning when I went for my train. Turns out someone had been hit by a train and no trains were running, 3 fire engines had turned by the time I left.

 

 

 

 

February 4 - well this was a palaver

 

 

February 6 - Limoncello after our meal in an Italian restaurant

 

 

 

 

February 8 - made a start on the cross stitch bookmark I bought (to be honest, I was expecting a picture to follow

 

 

I have more or less caught up with tasks so will have a look at some photos termorrer.

Yes! The beer one is excellent isn't it? Since you ask, due to the power of Sky TV our game against Brentford (see standy up photo) I arrived in west London just in time for the game and thus nee beer until half an hour or so after full time. This was a most welcome pint after trying to get near the bar in several other pubs. Later on and several pints later I ventured upon The Parcel Yard at KX. Out of all the sea filth and other unappealing stuff I chose pigs in blankets with caramelised onion. The ones which led to some amusement on FB for reasons which we can't mention on a family Forum such as this one. A few drinks later I made m'way to the train and the Supes lookalike.
If you look carefully you will see me in the crowd at the dreadful sterile Etihad.
The farmer around the corner has started keeping Alan Parkers. In fact his wife has done her first lot of knitting.

Oh! Not forgetting the famous Lass O'Gowrie an old watering hole back in the day of UMIST based activities.
