They all pull that scam Saint. Always annoys me to see some products loose in kg then similar/same items bagged identified as each on the pack. I can't post emoticons so grrrrrrrr.

I shop online and always look at the price/weight fing... some of the offers ain't "offers" at all when you compare products

My sister used to work in a local hardware store (I'm using that terminology as we have Americans on here - apparently) and she said the general policy was to double the price of everything they bought in !!!!

I actually dont mind paying extra for pre-bagged things. I remember years ago having the most boring of jobs packing Walnut Whips, subsidising my student days. So maybe you have to think about someones wages, people get paid for packing, but then again, maybe a huge company like Asda should carry that, without putting it on the consumer. Perhaps..

Maybe. I watched an old lady bursting open a bag of organic carrots the other day in Tesco, put them in a bag as loose carrots. She never flinched going through the checkout .Not that i advocate that, but i did laugh

It's called supply and demand.   It's a matter of choice.     Asda will be paying more to buy bagged bananas...  and they'll only buy bagged bananas if customers want them.    Just be smug and stop whinging....
