I wonder who man of the match will be as it could be Agar, Bell or Anderson. Don't think we'll see Finn in the next test match - his confidence is shattered.

It was Anderson who was made man of the match for getting 10 wickets during the match.

But will the same 11 be chosen from that squad? There must be doubts regarding Finn but the chances are he will be selected as Lords is his home ground.

Yeah, he plays for Middlesex and the pitch should suit him slightly more than Trent Bridge – although I’m hearing that given the extended dry warm spell we are experiencing the 2nd test pitch might not play much different from the 1st.

 

I would start with Finn as his overall record for England is decent and dropping a player from a winning team (should it be based on form, alone) could boost the morale of the Australians. Is a four man bowling attack sufficient though? An extra bowler would be my consideration regarding change – and for that I would reluctantly take out Bairstow - moving Prior and Broad up a place in the batting order.
