OTHER INFO - when we say the little green tab, it looks greenish but it is the tab SECOND FROM RIGHT not 3rd from left, it is the row of tabs with the normal smilies on it.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news Tatty, but using Quick reply and it's bare of anything, except Close, Use Full Posting Form and Quick Quote clickables on the bottom. However will take your word for it that that image gracing my screen exists, and will have to find it...somewhere. -wave-

Ok Tatty ( love your name btw)....Had a look at the Larger Posting Box, which I call a Large Reply Window, and there are 11 tiny boxes across the top, lookinhg like empty picture frames, as each tiny box is empty, but if I place my Mouse over each tiny Box up comes what each box is, and No. 10 is Display Image-UBB Code. So we're evens right. 8-) So, the smiley goes in there? Right will try it and see if you're right.

using the 'quick reply' is just that, an quick reply, if you want all the others stuff use the reply box lol
this is why i have put the explanation of the 'reply box' so that no one can get muddled, now if my mate mozzie comes on and says she is, i will have to

when you click that box, inside is the image url, this is what i have explained before, so yes your smilie goes in there

Something's gone weird as I was replying to you and it vanished into thin air. Right clicking Copy isn't a problem but there's no PaSTE to paste anything.
Typed the smiley's site url into the box as it asked for a url....then added word testing and voila....freeze, and then a super fast forward and see that post is in.....sheesh
Using Vista, and IE, but will check which one and get back to you.

when you want to paste it into the box, right click IN the box the little menu pops up then click on paste, it will go into the box
Ok, got IE7,and the smileys in that site don't work at all as I clicked on one and it didn't bat an eyelid.

FOR IE USERS....
Once you have found the image, right click on it and select "Properties" from the menu that pops up.
In the properties tab you will see a line saying "img address" (or similar) with a line of text next to it starting with "http://" and ending with ".gif" or ".jpg". Copy that line by highlighting it and pressing ctrl + c.
Now go to your reply box here and click the 2nd tab from the right (the green'ish looking thing) to bring up the url box
right click in that box and Paste the address you just copied into this and then press "Ok".

I see you've been busy and will give that a try. Hub now suggests I change to Firefox, but don't think so now as I've had a very rough morning elsewhere, nothing to do with this smiley caper, so Firefox will have to wait.

i do not use IE because of the problems with it i have firefox, but i use safari, it is quicker and easier 'I' find lol if you get any more problems PM me, as it will get me by email, if i am not here then i can get back to you quicker, saves you waiting too long
