I quite often want to say something, but know it's not worth a thread of it's own. So I'm going to say it here.

Those adverts over there >>>>>

I know they can be linked to what people have been 'searching for'.  But it just showed me one for an AAT course, which is quite spooky because we just had our accountant in (year end and all that) and I was discussing with him about whether it would be worth me doing that course.

Anyway, please feel free to mention anything here that you can't be bothered think isn't worth starting a thread about, but want to say.

Can't believe I'm still not drinking .............it'll be three months on the 10th. Now that really is pretty amazing - not that I've ever stuck to Government guidelines in the past.

Three months, that's amazing. Being nosy ... have you lost weight because of it?

I might give up for a week or two before my hols if you have

Soozy I bought that book on your recommendation, along with, his 'Lose Weight' and 'Be happy' books.  Haven't read one of them yet.

Might sit down tomorrow with a glass of wine and a cake while I cry myself stupid reading them.

Just listening to Falco (Rock me Amadeus) on the tuby thing and I got a whiff of blackshirt about him. Wandered if it was just me. Love his music though.

How much music did he do? Or are you confused about Mozart?

No. Did they have blackshirts in 1780 odd?

He seems to have been the only German singing artist to be successful in the US, according to wiki, which could mean nothing or everything.

Maybe a tad but ........................i'm eating more biccies and stuff. I've tried not to deprive myself of 'nice' bits and pieces because I'm feeling a bit of a martyr giving up alcohol. I've kind of substituted wine with other drinks like Elderflower Presse which isn't particularly low in calories. Have recently been buying various flavoured waters (not quite the same). I will be addressing weight in due course - back to Slimming World i think - it'll be a doddle as I always went over my daily sin allowance on alcohol alone.

I guessed I've missed an opportunity really - should have lost shed loads.

I think I did a year's worth today alone.

Anyhooo, I bought 6 tambourines, 6 pairs of castanets and a kilo of cherries today

Mannnnnnn, I want to come shopping with you.

I hope after you bought the 6 tambourines, you entered every shop after that skipping and singing 'hare krishna'.

Never mind black t-shirts, did they even have t-shirts in the 1780's?

Look back up the thread though, I have in my head that he died in a bus crash in Canada.  I'm going to google it now, to check.

Two cans please

Do I take pictures of me feeding my boy them, or shall I leave them under a bench on the town moor?

We were both wrong, he was Austrian and he died in a bus crash in the Dominican Republic.  BAH

I might get the weight one - the thing is you have to 'want' to do it. i had the book for about three weeks before I decided to read it. In so many ways I'm glad I did but ............it is life changing. Most of the time I'm really and truly not bothered (never thought I could do that) - there are times though where i feel something is missing - I'm not even tempted to have a drink but .........................it doesn't stop me feeling that there's something missing. I suppose/hope that'll change in time as I'm quite convinced it was the right thing to do (for me). I think from a health angle it can only be good as I was never a 'moderate' drinker and I'm an all or nothing type of person.
