It's on my phone and i have caught some yes  But it's only cos my 5yr old wanted to play and my 12yr old sons phone couldn't get it. I was dragged out by them on Saturday and the pokemon thing was boring as hell... But you know what? It did get us out and about, through woods and the park etc and the kids enjoyed it so it's not all that bad.

It already has done Dame, I heard one person stumbled into a drugs exchange!!!

17 year old shot dead, kids could end up in all sorts of dangerous places.

It sounds like it all could have ended very badly:

Some woman found a dead body while playing it the weekend it was released!

I do fear it placing rare ones on motorways or something equally as dangerous though... ppl who desperatly wanna get them all will risk it

I don't usually mention "real life" on this forum, but the company I work for does work for the rail industry, and they're contractually obliged to pass around Network Rail safety briefings to everyone. The result is I often find rather unpleasant notices in my mailbox describing how some rail worker got his hand stuck in railway points, or nearly cut his throat by accident while operating a grinding tool.

However Friday was a little different: we got a NR briefing warning staff to be aware of "civilians" playing PokÃĐmon Go in and around railway "infrastructure". It included two screen snapshots: one of a PokÃĐmon actually on the railway track (the player was standing near the edge of a station platform), and another of one on a level crossing. What was perhaps even more unnerving was that as well as warning staff about players putting themselves - and others - at risk, they were also warning them about how to deal with such players: the implication being that some players haven't been too happy to have their concentration broken by some railway worker trying to point out to them that playing an app game while standing in the middle of a level crossing isn't perhaps the safest thing to do...

Good grief Eugene. Such individuals are contenders for the Darwin Awards

See, this is exactly the type of thing i was talking about! Why are some people so stupid.
