He hasn't been released, he was just at hospital to see an eye specialist.

I am surprised they took the cuffs off.

Indeed,years ago at the Royal infirmary at Glasgow I  was seeing a stroke specialist,me and a few others were waiting,sitting on chairs in the corridor,in walks a guy  handcuffed to two cops,chatting away as if he was on an outing.I ignored him. Thankfully i got the all clear.

That was my first thought, why he not cuffed?? I know someone recently who had to go to family court, she was handcuffed and guarded by 2 burly security men. That was for shoplifting. This man has killed !!
