I remember a situation in which I  was involved.

I was approx. 10yrs old and had just finished playing football in the local sports centre (youth club). The teacher said we could all get changed and as it was the end of the lesson/day we could make our own way home rather than dragging us back to school.

As usual I was one of the last to finish getting changed.

Most of the boys had left - approx. four of us were still getting changed.

When suddenly a small man walked in flanked by two older teens.

I assumed he was the care taker.

He loudly announced,

"Oh we're too late lads - they've got their clothes on"

Comments obviously made towards me and my friends.

I was genuinely scared and left the sports hall immediately.

I never told anyone - not sure why.

Years later I was dropping my Mum off at work and she said a man had been found hanged in his garage where we drove past.

When I asked who he was she said he was the care taker at the local youth club and had been accused of "interfering" with children.
