I've been watching the new series but feel it is too much like Jason is trying to be Arkwright.
Why do they constantly keep reintroducing the Arkwright stammer used by various characters.
Granville's character seems to be more and more a poor imitation of Arkwright, not needed and why would Granville morph into Arkwright. 
I've been somewhat disappointed by this reboot. Time to retire Granville BBC.
It's complete rubbish and it's a shame that David Jason has a stain on his career now.
