Thanks gents and er Supes for that scarey contribution

It would seem that by an large most have something ranging from stubble to a beard or variant on that theme.

I wonder, do the summer months tempt anyone to keep it short or totally shaven?

For the record, I don't like my beard colour, so that's is one reason I keep clean shaven, also I look a lot older with a beard, not unlike a street drinker.

oh gawd tell me about it.. I actually retch when I see a full on beard. .I blame it on a  guy I used to work with years ago that spent all day long, day in day out, eating whatever he could find in his beard. .

I was never so pleased to move on elsewhere after 5 yrs of having to put up with that

The beard thing gets me, it clearly is just a fashion thing, these are not men making their own minds up to grow a beard. It's like buying the latest label in clothing or shoes, the minute the trend changes these guys will all shave them off. When I get talking to one of the fashion beard fraternity I always try and ask them if it's for life or until the trend fades. Now and again I am taken back by the odd person who actually admits to following the trend!

I was talking to a few boro fans in the motorway services on Saturday night and they weren't happy to put it mildly. One of them did have a beard come to think of it

Really!

That's all I do. Often there is no electricity where I am.

none?

Ah, bad sentence construction on my part. I should have said that at home, I do have leccy, but still wet shave.

When I am away often there is no leccy as I visit a few countries where there is no reliable electricity.

Agreed, some of us have to be careful. I only wet shave every other day and I try and use a sharp razor and don't press hard on the skin. I have found that my sensitive area is best shaved in the opposite direction to the rest of my face.
