Two workers from my local council came this morning to knock out and replace about a dozen bricks under my back window. They have been here about two and a half hours so far...
First they had to go back to the depot to fetch some replacement bricks. Half hour one of then said. Forty five minutes later they came back. They then proceeded to have breakfast. Half an hour. From what I have seen they have laid all of eight bricks now they are on another break. It's gonna be long day and I have still have to shop and do chores 
Thirty odd minute break now over...two hours and forty five minutes and counting 
No wonder the councils are losing money hand over fist
