Untrue, Serena's appearance hasn't changed except for getting older and losing youthful puppy fat. I've followed her career since the start, as I used to be a big tennis fan in the late 90's. She was always powerfully built - from the start - that type of power hitting transformed womens' tennis around 1997-1998 when the Williams sisters emerged. 

I'm going to make my objections clear, and then I'm going to avoid you for a while Saint.

I didn't recognise Serena from that particular pic (I wasn't alone) - and I watch plenty of tennis.

She does look different.  It might just be the extra pregnancy weight and it might not.

IMO, Serena isn't the prettiest or most feminine woman on earth but her sporting achievements are fantastic and she should be applauded for them.

BTW, I think Michelle Obama in very attractive, as well as warm and intelligent .

Uploading a photo - to a thread specifically for things we object to / find worthy of ridicule - with a shaking head smiley beneath it, would be ok if there was something wrong in the photo  - but there isn't. It's just two white men and a black woman. I would have thought it unpleasant - but just left it. For Saint then to compound it  by saying said perfectly normal black lady looks like she is wearing a mask - no - that's unacceptable. Sorry Yogi - completely unacceptable.

I accept that whilst Serena has put on pregnancy weight (totally normal), she certainly isn't huge.

I took the "mask" comment to mean she looks very different in that pic - so different that I didn't realise it was her.

As far as I can see, you are the only person who has raised the issue of race.

I think you have read far more into the post than was meant - but that's just my opinion.

CANCER RESEARCH UK

OMG - where to start !!!

As so many of our family have died from cancer we support this charity regularly.

So we dropped off a load of good quality stuff recently amd agreed to siging up for them to reclaim the tax thingy from donations,

Recently we received a letter thanking us and saying,

"We sold all the items you donated and raised £2.83"

What-the-bloody-hell  !!!!!

We gave them 2 pairs of new shoes worth £20 each

Several cuddly toys and several items of bedding (unused)

And they flogged the lot for £2.83

ARE THEY STUPID????

We won't be supporting like this ever again
