BIB Those lyrics were actually used by Des'ree in Life.

I wonder if they had to pay royalties to use the line.

Did they use it in this too?  I was haunted by that awful Des'ree song at the time and that's why I remember that lyric all too clearly

Sorry, I thought you were saying it was in The Cow song too.  I didn't listen all the way through, it was too much.

I can't wait to get home and listen to them....   this morning she "sang"  Little Drummer Boy - she was spectacularly bad, her voice was awful.   I think the fact that the band have been going since they were teenagers and they're only now being talked about speaks volumes about their talent v's the popularity of Downton.

I reckon some some of my sing snaps were better.

Revenge for the cow song!

Did you spoil yourself by fast forwarding to 2 hrs 22 mins for a blast of 'It came upon a midnight clear' too?     I didn't hear anything after 9 a.m. - i'm almost tempted to listen to the last half hour in case I missed a hidden gem....

"Ear shattering carnage!"

See!? This has been another example of what we used to call, "New Headmaster syndrome!" Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, along comes a new level of badness.

That was awful, particularly the last half hour. The Smith gadjie was too piercing, man. We could have done without the soporific Chet song, the guests were not of any interest, and the thought for the day was a thinly disguised advert for that Miranda one.
