Evening Both.

Cool here today 6c but sunny and slight wind.

Didn't go out, just watched tv.

Mollie, The bed is being delivered Monday they have said so thats good.

I have started using potato instead of rice as it doesn't soak so much juice up, was thinking of making some Chapatis as they are supposed to be used to eat dry curries but when i buy them they don't taste like they should so was going to make my own, i only need Wholemeal Plain Flour, water and a touch of butter to oil them after they are cooked, they take about 2 minutes in a pan.

Here http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/chapatis_77146

My cough has almost gone, certainly a lot better, hope you get your voice back soon.

Emptybox, I thought you would be getting some snow, think it's worse further south though.

Glad some parcels came, you need to be careful with ram if you are adding it to existing as it has to be compatible.

No, i don't mash the spuds as i can't stand all the juice being soaked up and i never have too much juice.

I see 3 more HM's are going in tonight, think a couple could be the ex's of those already in.

If the betting is correct Angie is down to go, hope she does anyway.

I believe BB had to warn her 3 times about being too hard on the HM's similar to what Calum did.

Hicky

Hi Hicky.

I like to soak up as much curry sauce as possible, that's why I use rice or mashed potatoes. Otherwise I find the curry too spicy.
That's very adventurous, making your own chapatis. Mind you, I'm not too sure what a chapati is? Some kind of Indian bread?

That's good that your bed is being delivered so quickly.
They usually say in adverts that these type of things will be delivered "before Christmas", so yours is 11 months early.

I'm going to buy two sticks of DDR3 RAM identical to the two already installed, so should definitely be compatible.
I succumbed to temptation and installed the i7 CPU in the computer already.
It seems to be running fine, and relatively cool, which is good.
I'll probably sell the i3 that was in it on Ebay, although I'll get a lot less for it, but I'll at least get some back (maybe ÂĢ25?).

That's interesting that 3 are going in. Wonder if it's permanently?
I thought one might be the husband of one already in, but we'll just have to see.

Hicky

that is good the bed is being delivered so quickly. It would not of been good to have to wait until delivery just before Christmas as Emptybox says all the adverts kept telling us. What a good idea the home made chipatis are. Let me know what you think of them.

Glad your cough has almost gone. My throat seems a lot better today and the voice is coming back. Just the cough lingering now, but not as bad as it was.

Emptybox

Glad you seem to have got your computer sorted out ok.

Thanks for the Mr Benn piccies, yes I know who he is now.

Lucky you getting snow, none here, just a cold wind.

Should be a good CBB show tonight, wonder who will go in? Hope it is not someone irritating.

Watching now and no surprise so far with Angie being the one voted out.

I have really gone off football Jamie the way he went for Jedward last night with such a foul mouthed, personal insulting rant! Brandon didn't seem to have a problem with them, they were only asking him if he was sure he didn't want to try and last another day. Horrible the way Jamie boasted in the garden with Nicola about it too, he is hardly perfect himself with his background!  Good on Jedward not rising to the bait with the likes of him! Wonder if he realises just how sucessful jedward have been so far, they even had their own tv series on bbc as well as touring. I know because I watched it!

Enjoy the show both. Have a good evening xxx

M

Hi Mollie.
Glad your throat is getting better.
Not that keen on snow Mollie, especially if it blocks me in.
Freezing cold here as well with the wind. Brrrr.

Pity Angie was out, but I suppose that was predictable.
No fan of Austin, but that was a terrible way to evict him. The public had no say, and they hadn't even bothered to make a 'best bits' tape for him.

Well I don't think anyone predicted correctly the 3 that went in?
Great to see Jessica from The Apprentice in there, but not keen on the other two. Don't like Kim Woodburn, and the screechy Geordie Shore one seems awful.

Didn't realise Jedward had a BBC series? Perhaps you were their only viewer Mollie?

Evening Both.

6c here today, sunny spells, slight wind, stayed in all day though.

Just had some Scallops now going to have a Lobster, hope i don't get in the mess as before.

Emptybox, I see why you like to soak the juice up from the curry, thats the opposite to me.

I had some Chapatis when i used to have Indian food in London working in a factory and one of the supervisors was Indian and i sometimes went home with him for a meal, they were lovely and soft unlike what i got when in a restaurant so i was hoping i could make some the same, when i get the flour.

Sometime the Ram has to be the same make if adding to a Puter, but it might have advanced since that was the case.

Yes, if the new cpu is working ok it's worth selling the old one, they don't really have a life term if controlled by the right voltages.

I'm pleased with who went and glad to see new entries to the house, i liked Jessica on The Apprentice, Kim might be a pain, but Chloe should be fine.

Mollie, Yes, pleased about the bed, it was very comfy when i was lying on it in the shop.

I'm still drinking Blackcurrant it's so easy to drink, have laid off the milk as it creates Phloem.

Glad your voice is coming back and the cold is easing, it shouldn't linger for too long now.

Let it Shine ovelaps the Voice but CBB isn't on till 10.30 but it's mostly a repeat of last night, how bads that.

And we didn't get any live feed last night did we?

Hicky

both

Hicky

hope the lobster cooking went well this time.

That would be nice if you could replica the home made Indian chipatas when you get the flour.

I too have really cut back on dairy, as you say it irritates the phlegm. No early morning latte, just honey and lemon for me and no cheese in my jacket potato. But at least it is on the way out now and I am eating better than I was. (minus the dairy though).

Thanks for tellimg me about the late CBB. How annoying is that! As you say though, Saturdays are not the best for CBB as they repeat too much from the Friday.

Emptybox

yes I can see why you wouldn't like the snow if it blocks you in. Has it all gone now?

Yes shame Angie went, and I agree, what a horrid way to evict Austen. I also think it is a cheek of BB to get rid of someone within 10 mins of the public just having voted to save them!   I agree, how unfair not to show him his "best bits!". I was not a fan of his, but just didn't like this at all. And the other HM's were  just cruel  the way they completely ignored him when he was evicted, they just carried on chatting and laughing and having fun when he went up the stairs! How spiteful!

Emptybox....When I saw we had a Geordie Shaw person come in, I thought that was what you meant when you said I wouldn't approve of one of the new ones. I did read BB said they would not be putting in towie/Geordie shore ones this series, didn't take them long to break that! She is just a typical mouthy type one you get off that show as far as we could see, when she went in!

The one off the Apprentice could be interesting , not sure about cleaning lady though.

Glad to say I am so much better today, talking again now, daughter nearly has her voice back, just coughing now and again, and phglemy. But that I expect will take awhile to go.

Glad we have the Voice to watch tonight as CBB on so late, think I'll watch that whose house it this? show whilst I wait for CBB.

Have a good evening both xxx

M

Evening both.
Lovely sunny day here, but it never got above 2 degrees, so the snow is still here.

Glad the both of you are recovering from the lurgy. But even more pleased that I never caught it myself.

Hope you enjoyed your seafood Hicky. And can work out how to make a nice chapati.

When I bought the i3 in 2011 it cost ÂĢ92 and the i7 cost nearly ÂĢ300, so I promised myself that if I could get the i7 for under ÂĢ100 second hand I would upgrade. Didn't expect it would take 6 years though.
Funnily enough the DDR3 RAM cost ÂĢ60 in 2011, and cost almost exactly the same new now. Not sure why the CPU has come down and the RAM hasn't, but guess it's because it's a 2nd generation core i7, and I think they are on the 7th generation now, whereas RAM hasn't advanced as much.

Mollie, there'd been a rumour that Nicola's husband Tom Williams was coming in, and that's the one I thought you wouldn't approve of. But I'm quite glad he didn't arrive.

The voice was a bit better, but I'm still annoyed by Jennifer Hudson. She's so full of herself. However I guess Tom sung a song, so obviously that's what they're meant to do. Also don't like the way they ignore the ones they don't turn for.

Just watching CBB. That Geordie Shore one is horrendous. Charlotte Crosby on acid?

Evening Both.

9c here today but some rain and wind, not worth going out, O/H's not working next week so we might get some meals out.

Mollie, I thawed and drained the Lobster better this time so didn't get in such a mess, won't be getting any more of those, although it was a ready cooked but still makes a mess.

O/H made a chicken roast dinner, just having a Ginger Beer, quite tasty really.

Emptybox, I see you still have some snow, i wonder if that is it for this winter?

All the rest of the Lobsters i have are just tails so there's no problem with them, you have to cook them but i take the shell off first.

Yes, cpu's have been advancing all along but the ram price dropped so much at one time when all the companies started churning it out, but because the mother boards can't take too much the need for lots more memory stick didn't need to be made, and with it not wearing out and unaffected by use it seems then with the amount of Puters coming to saturation then there's a lack of demand i assume.

I watched some of the voice but it's not that interesting so switched over.

I'm enjoying CBB, I love the wild one like Chloe it winds them all up, loving the show anyway, wish it would last for longer.

Hicky

both

Emptybox

glad you got a sunny day, even though it was cold, no wonder snow is still there if it was only 2 degrees, it was about 12 here, but was dry so got washing dry on line.

Gosh 6 years is awhile to finish your pc project. Ihope you get many years of enjoyment from it now though.

I enjoyed the Voice but as you say,  Jennifer is rather OTT, so it is her voice that got her there, and of course I love Tom's voice.

Shopping today was it?

I am glad Tom didn't go in CBB, but I don't think anyone really knew beforehand who was going in  did they? Yes indeed Geodie Shore is a real handful. Must be awful having to share a house with her! She makes Speidi look gentile and quiet.

Hicky

glad the lobster wasn'st quite so messy this time round. That was a nice combination for you, chicken roast and ginger beer.

Did you get in your garden today?

Yes I too am enjoying CBB. As you say, does't last long enough. Is it on for one week more or two?

We have a new addition to our family, daughter applied for an RSPCA rescue bunny and did all the paperwork and we got accepted for the bunny we chose. He is so cute, about a year old and very friendly. He seems to be settling in well and enjoying exploring, especially going up and down the stairs.

Looking forward to tonights show.

Have a good evening both xxx

M

Hi both.
A lot of rain overnight and milder today, so most of the snow has gone. There was still a bit on the lawn when it got dark tonight, but will likely be away by the morning.
Didn't do much today, apart from the supermarket as usual.

Hicky. Glad you had more success with the lobster this time.

Computer specs haven't changed all that much in the 6 years since I built this computer, so it's still a very fast machine, whereas only a few years before that 6 years would have made a huge difference.
I bought a top of the range PC back in 2005, with a Pentium 4 and 2 GB of RAM, and that's puny by the standards of the one I built 6 years later. It's still going strong though.
And the one I bought with my Dad back in 2002 cost ÂĢ1000 and only came with 256 MB of RAM.   And change was even more rapid back in the 90s, when I think you were building PCs Hicky.

I think the economic slowdown has had an effect, and also the manufacturers seem to be treading water a bit, waiting for the next big thing to come out, whatever that might be? Perhaps virtual reality gaming or 4K streaming?
That might kick start another jump in technology.

Hi Mollie. That must be exciting having a new bunny in the house. Is he house trained?

CBB OK but KIm seems to be having unnecessary rows with everybody. Not the best way to settle in? She seems to have taken to Jedward though.
Think Jessica has made a mistake allying herself to Chloe.

Emptybox

did you need to go and do your gardens today? it suddenly went milder here too, and we even got a bit of sun, so got some washing out again to dry.

Yes Kim is being argumentative, do you think producers told her to go in and deliberately stir things up in there? I agree, if Jessica wants to do well, Chloe is not the best attachment for her! But can't be easy for Chloe as a new comer with the likes of Nicola, footie Jamie and Callum being such a clique. To give her her dues she did try and stand up for Kim against the garden clique when she saw how upset Kim was.

Hope you are enjoying your new pc and your van is behaving.

Yes our new bunny is house trained, vet checked, injections done and tagged by RSPCA before we collected him. We still felt upset when he came home though as we knew he was not replacing our last bunny we'd had for some 12 years. He is settling in well though, very chilled out and friendly. And lots of energy as he is only 1 year old.

Hicky

did you get into your garden or go into your man shed today?

Dog enjoyed her walk today, as it was mild and with a bit of sun too.

How odd they told us they did an eviction last night. So this means another HM with not a propery eviction, no crowd even this time, and so obviously no best bits again. Seems a bit mean to me that.

Hope we don't lose JamesC, I like him. I also like Jedward and Stacey has grown on me.

Have a good evening both xxx

M

Evening Both.

My Mattress cam today, O/H changed all the covers etc, can't wait to test it.

Going out for brekkie in the morning for a change as O/H off work this week.

Not a bad day really 9c but some light rain and slight wind.

Mollie,  I'll wait till the weather warms a bit, don't want to get all dolled up in my winter gear.

CBB another 2 weeks, usually 3 total.

The new rabbit will jump around everywhere, they love it, don't think they want to be on the floor really.

Emptybox, Talking about early cost of Ram, i remember selling some 4mb sticks of ram to a shop so i could buy 8mb sticks, i think 1 x 8mb was about ÂĢ200, 6 years later if the price hadn't crashed i worked it out that a memory stick i bought for a few pound would have cost ÂĢ7,000 without the crash.

Yes, Brexit will sort itself out, it's the people who control the money and the banks, most financial transactions now are done by computer, no humans get involved, it runs on mathematical equations so it's all done according to odds.

I think we will be better cutting all ties with Europe, it's finished anyway, it's too costly and many other countries want out, they wished they never got involved.

We have totally lost control of the country, it's just as well we didn't get the stupid euro.

Hicky

Hi both.
Not bad day here. Even a bit of sun.
Went out to pay my garage bill, but didn't go much further.

Fitted the SSD into my computer and migrated Windows across to it. All went smoothly, and it's certainly speeded things up compared to the old HDD.
Makes booting up and opening programs very fast.
Just got the RAM to buy now.

Just when I thought I was finished work until Spring, I got a call today from someone needing some more tidying up work done. So that's another few hours to put in sometime this week.
Less time to play with the computer.

Mollie. That's good that your new rabbit is house trained, and all the vet stuff taken care of.
Hope he's with you for many a happy year.

I'm not liking Jessica so much in this.
Not sure what she's up to flirting with Calum (or pretending she fancies him)?
She's in a relationship with Courtney from the Apprentice, and he's been supporting her on Twitter.
Having said that, she's a million times better than that Geordie Shore creature.
Pity that Jasmine went. She was a bit annoying, but I'd rather Speidi had gone really.

Hicky. Hope you get a good night's sleep on your new mattress.
Is it firmer than your last one, and does it have different tensions on either side, to suit different people?
Enjoy your brekkie out.

Yes computing has changed a lot since the early days, but the pace of change has slowed down this decade.
I'm yet to be convinced about Brexit. Only time will tell.

emptybox

Evening Emptybox.

Not a bad day, 9c and cloudy.

Went out for brekkie, very nice, couldn't find the soup powders, turned out they have run out and are stocktaking, so no soup.

Had a strange tea, not surprising for me i suppose, got a nice big steak Rib Eye, sliced as you would making slices of smoked salmon, long thin slice at an angle, fried it and added some Piri Piri sauce then tipped a pack of stirfry Indonesian sauce over it and fried it, yummy.

That SSD is good so fast, i remember a machine in Fords Dagenham to get it to run fast enough they had to put the program into ram as if they used a disk it was too slow.

A few more jobs won't harm, if the weather isn't too bad it's great for you.

I think Jessica is flirting with Calum to hinder Chloe, thats all.

The mattress was fine, nice and firm which does fine and for the mattress delivered and the old one collected ÂĢ299 and they are all good makes.

No it's a single, don't like double as people get kicked out.

I want a hard Brexit, we need to take our country back surely, Germany and the others are using us, they need us so bad, the EU is finished i think, it's just some are scared to get out.

We would be free to do our own deals, who want Germany to do deals for us, we should stand strong like we did in the war, we should never have got mixed up in it, they have kept adding countries and Germany are the winners, noone else.

And our borders, do we want Germany to control them, no we can do that ourselve, and the trade thingi, we can't do deals with anyone because Germany says no.

Rubbish, theres a whole massive world out there dying to do deals with us, look at the size of the usa and India and many others.

We can't do anything with our hands tied behind our backs, all my life i have heard why we can't do something and get told the EU doesn't allow it.

Hicky

both

Hicky

good idea to go out for brekkie as your OH has a break from work. Where did you go this time? Glad to hear the mattress is fine for you. I hope it eases your back problems.

Emptybox

glad your computer is speeding up nicely now.

What a shame a bit of work from your new client is going to interfere with your pc time.

Is your van running ok now?

I too can't understand why all these women are fighting over Calum. Is it because they think it is expected from them? Jessica can't think much of the bf the way she was after Callum! As you say, she is better than awful Geordie Shore though.

I so agree what you say about brexit Hicky.  The sooner we break all ties with the leech that is the unelected EU bureucrates, the better. As you say, the EU union ended up being controlled by Germany. All the other places are suffering badly, eg Italy and Spain, Greece.... no hope job wise at all for the young people over there. Joining the EU has done nothing for us either except land us in big debts! And give us a load of low paid zero hour contracts, along with sky high house prices because we are now so overcrowded! Thank goodness May says we are leaving that single market. As you say, leaves us free to trade with who we want now under our own terms, eg New Zealand, India, US.

Expect it will take some time to settle whilst the powers that be argue it out and try and hold onto their high paid jobs though!

CBB...So many evictions lately, it is hard to keep up with it all. But I think it has been getting increasingly unpleasant in the house lately.

Not a bad day here today, quite mild, bit damp but no rain.

cooked a roast dinner that the family all enjoyed, and the dog too! New bunny enjoyed the carrot peelings, so no wastage now.

Have a good evening both xxx

M

Evening guys.
Not bad day here. Some sunshine.
But I thought it wise to have one more day of computer playing before I do my job tomorrow.....probably.

That tea sounds nice Hicky.
Pity you couldn't find your soup powder. Not sure why you'd want to though?

Mollie. The van seems OK. Not too much rattling.
Glad the family enjoyed your roast, and handy to have bunny to get rid of the carrot peelings.

I would think most people who voted for Brexit hoped that the UK would be better off outside of the EU, and I think there's a good chance they'll be disappointed. We are already seeing higher prices and inflation.
But as you say Mollie, it might take a few years for things to settle.

I'm just afraid that the very hard line Brexiteers are so obsessed with breaking away from the EU at any cost, that they'd rather take Britain out into the middle of the Atlantic and sink it, rather than be tied to Europe. And that wouldn't be in anybody's interest.
But...time will tell. As I keep saying.

Didn't think I'd say this, but I think it's a pity that James Jordan was out.
I'd rather it had been Jedward (sorry Mollie )

emptybox

Evening Both.

Not bad here 9c but cloudy, no wind.

I meant to tell you, when i had brekkie at the garden centre (Burley Dam) we saw some spiral, fake tree in pot plant thingie, quite tall, say 5ft, O/H said they were ÂĢ129.99 each but she wanted 2 so said i would ask if i can be 2 for ÂĢ200 the lady asked a feller to check, he came back and said ok, so they took them too our car, had a bit of a problem getting them in mind.

I went to the surgery at 8am to get an appointment about the infection, took a sample, she has put me on a different Anti-bio for a week, she said it should sort the water and my chest, hope so.

I had brekkie at Sainsbury's why we waited for the appointment which was at 9.45, then went to get my hair cut again as O/H didn't like the last cut.

Mollie, I'm getting used to the Mattress, it is higher that the other but i'll soon get used to it.

Emptybox, In the winter when i have the Mexican/curry soup mix and i divide it into the 4 portions it is so nice to make up a bowl of soup, the Mexican one has lots of dried stuff in it which is lovely after simmering for 10 minutes.

Yes, i'm also sorry James came out, Jedward must be annoying them all so much, but at least the lads know, also know why, but who is nominated for Fridays eviction.

Myself i think we have been stuck within the single market, we can't trade with who we want because the EU won't allow it, like everything else, they have us trapped, exactly what they all wanted and they succeeded, now they are trying to show the world how hard they want to make it for a country to get out of the trap.

All these other countries we could trade with  but be massive, the size of the USA, India, China, New Zealand and i'm pretty sure the EU countries would want to deal with us, it's in their interest.

And to get control of our borders, they have us wrapped up like a fly by a spider, they have taken the UK's control all away from us slowly, but the problem is it would get worse, and as the EU gets bigger it would take a lifetime to get the other 27 + countries to agree on anything, thats why nothing can get done, you couldn't get 27 people to agree on something never mind countries.

We should break all ties and start again, and if the buyers of the foreign goods want to save money buy from the British, they don't need to buy all this stuff from the EU, the EU has tricked them into needing them when most of the stuff is in the UK all along.

Hicky

both xxx

Emptybox

well that is very naughty ... the weather was just right for work and you couldn't resist another day computer playing! You naughty boy! (nothing wrong with being a bit naughty now and again though!).

Glad the van appears to be behaving.

Don't be fooled inflation is not , nor the weak pound, is not down to brexit alone, which is what the "powers that be" want us to believe. eg the pound had been falling ages before brexit, then actually went up after Theresa's speech yesterday. But brexit will be blamed for everything now by those who didn't want it. All this huge amount of money printing B of E has done and the ridiculous low interest rates has caused inflation. And of course all it has meant is the rich got richer, and it helped  the banks (by getting people into more and more debt to buy overpriced houses!).

I agree with Hicky, how can 27 countries with completely different cultures ever agree on everything? EU is far too big for its boots and far too expensive for us too. I think over time we will have a bright future again as a country in our own rights, but it will take time to get out of the mess EU got us in. And I think EU will make it as difficult as possible, as will some self interested politicians. But after brexit many countries will want to trade with us. And as Hicky says it is about time we got back to producing our own goods again, instead of just running our economy on corrupt banking and high house prices!

The FTSE is doing quite well since brexit, so even if we have inflation, at least your investments have been doing well. So hopefully one will cancel out the other for you, so you don't miss out.

Hicky

your fake trees sound lovely. Can you put a photo on. And good you got a reduction for 2. Are they going outside the front door?

I hope the anti biotics cure both of your problems. Good idea to go for brekkie whilst you were waiting for your appointment.

Yes it does probably take some time to get used to a new mattress especially if it was higher than the other one.

I disagree about CBB. I am so glad Jedward got the stay despite the clique that all tried to get rid of them! I think that James was quite nasty about a lot of his so called friends. So was glad to see the back of him.

Can't stand the footballer either. Gosh flirting with Nicola, now moved onto Bianca, I thought Bianca had more taste!

Kim behaved badly, but footballer's hidden agressive side came to the fore tonight.

Not a bad day today, had to do a big food shop, daughter and I came back exhausted and coughing like mad, still not quite over this bug.

Goodnight both xxx

M

Evening.
Not too bad day. Cloudier than yesterday, but only light wind.

Got my job done today. Quite strenuous, so am tired tonight.
She said she might get me back to do some more.

Found my RAM had been delivered when I got home so decided to fit it into the computer straight away. Very easy job. All seems to be working fine, so I've now got 16 GB of RAM in this machine. Don't really need that amount, but I thought I might as well fill the empty slots.
The motherboard actually supports 32 GB, so room for a future upgrade. (although I'd have to replace what I've already got, in that case)

Hicky. Hope the new antibiotics finally get rid of your waterworks problems.
I'm sure you'll soon be sleeping like a baby on your new mattress.
Not sure why you (or your OH) want fake spiral trees? But if you do want them, then good to get them at a bargain price.
Are these Xmas trees?

Mollie. Pity the cough is still bothering you and your daughter. My brother said on Sunday that he still had his. And he said it was making him feel a bit dizzy at times as well.

You're right, the FTSE is high right now, but dropped a bit with Theresa May's speech confirming a hard Brexit.
I read today that gold is going up in price again. Pity I had to sell off my gold miner shares to buy my new van.

Kim's really bad, but as you say Jamie should have laughed off her comments rather than confronting her.
I quite liked James Jordan this time round. I've even quite liked Chloe since she calmed down a bit.
Don't suppose you liked to see her 'sexually harassing' a Jedward though Mollie?

Evening Both.

Warmish again, 9c cloud, no wind.

Had a walk around garden, no need to stay out, everything feels damp, don't like that.

Cough almost gone so thats good.

I was reading this morning that coffee can let you live longer, but don't drink caffeine latee than 6 hrs before you go to bed.

Mollie, I can't upload picture to here unless i pay the $25 for the Elite club, i could tweet it from the phone, i'll try that.

I see quite a few countries can't wait to trade with us direct, many opportunities are on offer, the eu is a hindrence to free trade as it isn't allowed, i bet so many countries wished they never joined now.

Yes, Jamie O'Hara seems a bit of a playboy, he's not doing himself any favours is he.

Kim is crackers, she is going to make herself ill.

Hope this cough of yours and your daughters has gone by now.

Emptybox, I see you had a rough day, you will be tired after that.

The 16 gb of ram is great, always better to have too much, it does no harm, yes when you fit the max into a system you have to fit the right sizes at it says.

The Fake Spiral Topiary trees don't need water or pruning, i don't want to look after them and O/H has a few to look after as it is, no they aren't Christmas type trees, just for show at the sides of the front door.

I've got the new tablets for a week so hoping things will get sorted before i see the hospital, hardly coughed in bed last night which helps.

I saw Saara Alto in the news studio this morning saying she has a contract with Sony, she is so happy.

did you take a rest day after your busy day yesterday?  I bet your new customer is pleased how hard you worked. (she must be if she has asked you back for more).

That is good you got the RAM put in easy.

Gosh your brother has had the cough for a long time, not good if it is making him dizzy. I did feel a bit dizzy back when it was real bad, but it is not so bad now. Hot honey and lemon does seem to help mine. I am still having that each morning and night. Good job you never caught the cough off him and SIL when you went to see them.

What a shame you sold the gold shares, as gold usually does well in times of financial trouble. Hopefully the rest will perform well for you.

Yes Chloe is a bit better now she is not quite so loud, but is still a girl lacking in inhibitions,  would be a polite way of describing her!    No Jedward never complained about her bare bum thingie, so that is proof they are not as sly as the cliquey lot make out they are,.... nor are they as immature as the others say they are. He acted well, just covered his eyes and made light of it. I still think they are there to have fun, not create trouble. And hope they do well despite the fact the others are all singling them out as they are easy targets.

Hicky

the anti biotics must of done you good if the cough has almost gone. Perhaps Emptybox's brother needs some too? Hope the anitbiotics knock the urine infection on the head now too.

Yes I have heard caffeine in coffee is real good for you, but it can disturb sleep if drunk at any other time than in the mornings.

I also heard about this on tv... sitting for too long is very aging, best to move around every 20 mins.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sci...ageing-new-research/

Yes many places will be keen to trade with us, I saw a show about New Zealand and it said as soon as we joined EU, the bottom fell out of the trade they were able to do with us. Hopefully now they (with many others) can at last look forward to doing more trade with us again. Yes I am sure places like Greece, Spain, Italy wised they had never heard of the EU! Thank goodness we at least kept our own currency.

CBB....  I agree Kim is quite bonkers and I can't think all this is good for her health. The others (noticeable Spencer, Nicola and Jamie) seem to enjoy goading her all the time knowing she is likely to kick off. Interestingly Chloe and Jasmine even though new don't seem to be following the "in" crowd in goading her to set her off. And of course Jedward and James C aren't part of it thankfully.

I am really enjoying the show overall though.

Going to watch Bargain Loving Brits in the Sun tonight then CBB.

Nice day here today, but felt very cold. My washing dried quite well on the line which is good. After over 2 weeks at last I have my appetite back and am enjoying my food again. Eating as little dairy as possible though, as that can aggravate a cough.

Have a good evening both xxx

M

Hi both.
Yes I had a day off today.
Was another cloudy mildish day outside.

Oh yes, I can visualise those topiary trees now Hicky. Couldn't think what you were meaning before.

I haven't been drinking anything with caffeine in it since I've had this condition (2 and a half years), but I might try having a real coffee now and again in the mornings, and see if it brings on symptoms.

I saw that little interview with Saara on the Victoria Derbyshire show this morning (on iplayer). They only had her on for a couple of minutes, which was a bit of a waste, but as you say she's very upbeat.

Hi Mollie. That's great news that your appetite is back.
Yes I'm really glad that I didn't catch this bug.
Have to admit Jedward were funny in the superhero task.

I read that about sitting for long periods being aging.
Even if I'm sitting I'm not a plonker, I'm a fidgeter, if you see what I mean. I don't just plonk myself down and stay still. My legs are always jiggling about. It's a family trait/failing.

Evening Both.

Not a bad day here 6c and sunny all day, cold overnight but no wind.

Had a chat with a brother of mine who is in Spain which was nice, a relation, O/H brother called in so O/H could show him a few jobs she wants to be done, he's the one that built the fron walls and did the wall rendering.

O/H's Sister called in for a tea as she was on her way to see her mother, she brought the toilet seat support frame we lent her so she could get her hubby home from hospital after his hip op.

Just had 3 Lobster Tails for tea, very nice, took the meat out and cut it up and dipped it into melted butter 1 piece at a time, had a little lemon juice as well.

The anti-bio tablets seem to be working ok anyway.

Mollie,  I won't be having any caffeine after 6pm any more, slept well last night, woke at 8.30 this morning

I see there is a twist in the voting tonight, 1 of the nominees with get put up every time and 1 will be immune for the duration, i know who is up first but don't know the other 3.

Yes, of course, many countries will be trying to get in on the act, of trade deals.

I'm sure that a lot of this 'we will have to pay more after Brexit' to buy the stuff we want from the EU, well, i bet most can be got from the UK if they look, it's about time people started buying British, like Trump is saying, America first, well we could do with someone saying UK first.

And all this rubbish about the lack of veg from Spain, well if we didn't eat salad stuff in the winter we wouldn't need it, buy the English greens that are in season.

Emptybox, The Topiary trees just make the front door and steps a bit more interesting, O/H likes them so i don't say anything.

Didn't realise you stopped Caffeine that long ago, i did drink some when i had the original water problems but having it now to aid sleeping.

Yes, Saara will be fine now, once you get a company backing you thats it, and with a voice like that they can't lose, and they know it, it could take a year or so to get an album out and a single but she will succeed, we will be hearing from her maybe later in the year.

I think you did deserve that day off yesterday. Do you ever feel achy the next day if you do an unusual or extra strenuos job? Although in your line of work, I am sure it beats sitting in an office all day, because you must be physically very fit.

It will be interesting to see if caffeine affects your condition, I'd just try one cup initially though to see how you go when you first introduce it. I can't even drink caffeine after 3pm else I have trouble going to sleep, but always enjoy 1 or 2 cups first thing.

Glad to see Jedward are growing on you .   Yes they were funny, They just intend having fun in the house, and will if people leave them alone instead of ganging up on them accusing them of being crafty troublemakers.

That is good if you are a fiddity jiggler, and not a tv sitter. With all the interuptiions in our house, from family or pets,  I don't sit for long periods at a time either.

Hicky

Does your brother live in Spain, or is he just on holiday? That show about Brits in Spain last night shows how cheap it is to live in Spain at the moment.

That is good your OH's brother is good at DIY, so can help you out with the odd jobs round the house.

Pleased to hear the meds seem to be working nicely.

Sounds like giving up the caffeine in the afternoon suited you as you slept so well.

I agree, we need to produce and buy more of our own things produced/made in the UK. Ridiculous how much stuff we import that we don't need to. I always look for fruit/veg that is local to this country. Plus it is supposed to have more vitamins in it, if it has not been transported from abroad.

We still have plenty of coal here in Wales, it was ridulous how the mines were closed and the mining valleys became deprived areas, when they still have plenty of coal.

Another lovely day, but very cold. The washing dried very well. We had 25% off Toby carvary, so had a lovely meal out there for less than ÂĢ5 each. I like the help yourself they do there..

Looking forward to CBB, Strange how it is Friday, and we don't know who is up. Hope Jamie or Nicola goes, and Kim stays...that will puzzle them all, if any of them went before Kim. Hope jedward and Kim stay. At least they are interesting.

Enjoy the show.

M

Evening Mollie and Hicky.
Another dull mildish day here, but looks like it's set to get colder over the weekend.

Well I had a coffee this morning, and have had annoying symptoms this evening. Not too bad, but it's the first time I've had peeing symptoms since late November, so I don't think coffee is a good idea for me.
I'll give it another go in a week or so, as it could have been a coincidence, but looks like I was right to stay off it.

I'm kind of sad that Chloe went this evening, which is a big turn around from my first impression of her. But she's harmless and quite entertaining IMO.
Glad Nicola sailed through though, as I think if she's up she'll be out. She's very unpopular on DS anyway.

Hicky, sounds like a day for family visits and phone calls?
That sounds like a nice tea. Don't think I've ever had lobster? Is it similar to crab? (think I've asked you that before?)
Glad the antibiotics are having an effect on the water infection.

Yes I think Saara will make a success of this. She's doing a lot of small gigs in the UK at the moment; in the run up to the X Factor tour. But she's doing a huge arena concert in Finland in April, which she wouldn't have been offered if it wasn't for X Factor. I'll certainly buy her album when it comes out.

Hi Mollie. Yes I sometimes feel achy after doing hard work, depending on what it is.
When I did the job a couple of weeks ago, pruning apple trees, my arms certainly ached the next day.
I always used to have coffee after my dinner at night, and it never affected my sleep. And I also used to have a cup of real tea just before bed. Nowadays I've replaced that with camomile tea. (but I do quite like it)
Glad you enjoyed your carvery meal.

Chloe just said on BOTS that she has started to fancy one of the Jedwards....but she's not sure which one.

garden today, or was it too cold?

Very cold hear today, son had to de-ice all of car and he didn't even leave till 10 for his reheasals.

But it was so nice and sunny, it was lovely. And I got my washing all dried on the line too.

Hope the antibiotics have made you feel better.

Emptybox

gosh good job you did only try one coffee if you think it might of aggravated your problem. When you try one again in a week or so, try and drink a glass of water alongside it. I watched a programme about Greece and he said they always give a glass of  water with a coffee in cafes, and my Ozzie friends always used to do this too if we were out. As you say, it is hard to know if it was just coincidence, so I guess you can only find out if you try it again after a gap. Hope you are feeling ok now.

Enjoy your sphag bol tonight. Do you have a beer with it, or gin?

I too was really disappointed Chloe went, I would much of preferred Coleen to of gone, as she doesn't do much except whinge. Considering how OTT Chloe was on the first night, she really grew on me. I thought she was a nice fun girl, there was not a bit of slyness nor nastiness to others with her, or crafty gameplaying.  She just wanted fun. I liked her exit interview and on BBOTS.

at her fancying one of Jedward, but saying she didn't know which one! Shame she went, I think they enjoyed her company as many of the others are so miserable and horrible to them. I think Chloe has been far better than the usual Geordie Shore types.

I find Nicola and Jamie really sly, they seem to try and stir trouble with others to advance themselves in the game. And have gone off Bianca, what on earth is she doing flirting with sleazy Jamie ?

Speidi won't be happy about being up for noms. Do you think it is right that JamesC put them up as he felt they were competion to himself? James C is real nice person, but I am not sure he has offerred us enough entertainment to be a worthy winner.  Hope Calum doesn't win though. I find him rather arrogant. (epecially with all those women after him).

Went to costco today, lots of nice free food samples.

Looking forward to the Voice, then CBB.

Have a good evening xxx

M

Evening Both.)

A cool day 4c but sunny with no wind.

Only went out for a walk around the garden to see what pruning may need to be done before spring to stop too much fruit bringing the branches down.

The Antibio's seem to be ok, water good colour, chest feeling better, no coughing.

Mollie, Yes, my brother moved to Spain in 2008, he absolutely loves it, he keeps asking me to go over for a holiday, if i can rid myself of all ailments and hospital appointments i might be able to go.

Slepy well last night again, woke at 8.15am, thats good, bed is hard but comfy.

Made a list for O/H to get my shopping in, all good stuff as you can imagine, so i have my smoked salmon, prawns, shrimps ribeye, ham, bacon, decaf coffee.

I hope people will start buying more UK produce and goods, it will sure give the EU a shock, we have tons of food and items here, we don't need to buy their stuff.

It's such a shame we got flooded with imported stuff and it collapsed so much of our industrial base, well maybe they will think about reopening some of what we lost, it could prove cheaper soon.

I didn't agree with who got evicted, think it might be duller now,

Emptybox, If the coffee effects your symptoms that seems strange, but worth trying a few times on and off to check.

I'm the same, sad to see Chloe go as well, i like to see a bit of life.

Yes, pleased with the Anti-bio's, just hope things stay the same after they finish.

Another eviction Tuesday isn't there?

Hicky

Evening both.
Colder today but no frost here. It was a very foggy morning, but some sunshine this afternoon.

Well I've had symptoms again today. Worse than yesterday if anything.
So I think a bout was on it's way anyway, and the coffee may have been a red herring. But I'll try the coffee again when I get clear of this bout.
I've had the odd cup of instant coffee at my brother's without much effect, but this was proper ground coffee, so maybe too strong to start on?
Mind you, I ground it about 2Â― years ago, so maybe it's gone off.

The Voice was quite good, but I couldn't really enjoy it as I was pacing around at the time, because I was uncomfortable with symptoms. It's slackened off a bit now, so hopefully I can get some sleep.
I did manage to enjoy my spag bol and beer though, before I got bad again.

That's a good thing to aim at Hicky. A nice holiday in Spain, after all your hospital appointments etc.

Mollie, glad you got some nice sunshine to get your washing dry.
Speidi were vicious about James C tonight. I'm sure he doesn't have a gameplan at all.

Oh, nearly forgot to say. I've listed my old i3 CPU on Ebay. I've asked for a fixed price of ÂĢ27.50 with free p&p. It's on for 30 days, so someone might buy it at that, although there are slightly cheaper ones for sale. If I get no bites I'll need to  try it as an auction listing instead of the fixed price.
But TBH when you take off the p&p and Ebay charges and Paypal charges I'll not be be left with much more than ÂĢ20 anyway. But better than nothing, providing it sells.

Evening Emptybox.

Not bad here, 0c overnight, 4c max during the day, it sau sunny spells, but not sure i saw any, hardly and wind either.

didn't really do much, watched TV, had a bacon batch for brekkie, slice the bun into 3 now so i can have 2 layers of filling, yummy.

For tea i chopped some spuds and boiled, fried a little garam massala and some Madras curry paste, made a cup of gravy using granules, fried the sliced meat, found it in the freezer, could be fillet of ribeye, then add the gravy which made rather a nice curry sauce, put half the spuds into a soup dish then added the beef curry, wow, loved it.

I looked on the web about freezing ginger root, garlic and limes, not all that what was waiting to be used it now frozen.

found a way to trim and peel the garlic in 10 seconds, wow, it worked as well, saved me a lot of work.

Thats not good, symptoms messing you about, it would be handy to know if 1 think can bring it on.

If the coffee you ground is still dry i doubt if it was gone off at all, depends how much you have left, i assume it's decaf as well., if it's only a small amount it wouldn't matter too much if you dumped it.

Hope the cpu sells, but wouldn't they want a better one like you did?

I slept ok last night, my water is a rather nice colour now, this antibiotic is for urinary tract, skin, chest, throat, ear & dental, that sounds good to me.

In the betting Stacy is at the bottom of the stack, James C at the top.

Hope Mollie is feeling better, that cough etc really wears you down.

Hicky

Evening.
Cold and dull here, but no frost again.
Haven't had any symptoms today yet, but it seems to come on in the evening for some reason.

Thought my van was going to give me problems, as I got a warning light when I went down to get the paper. "ESP System Malfunction", and it went into 'limp home mode' i.e it wouldn't accelerate properly.
However when I started it to come home there was no sign of the light, and the van drove fine. I've been out twice since (once to the supermarket this afternoon), and it hasn't given any further problems, and is driving great

I think that is to do with the electronic stability control, and I have a theory.
On Wednesday I had to pull into the side of the road to let a tractor past, and it was very muddy. And when I took off the front nearside wheel spun in the mud before it got a grip. And I think it might have spun some mud onto one of the sensors? Certainly the outside of the van was covered in mud.
Hopefully the mud has now fallen off and it won't bother me again. But if it comes on again I'll hose out around the wheel and see if that helps. If not it might be more garage expense.

That sounds a good tea Hicky.
Didn't know you could freeze garlic? I quite often have to throw some away because I buy too much and only use it occasionally, when I make mince or stews.
Glad your water is a good colour. I won't ask you to post pics.

I think the ground coffee was OK, because it was still dry and powdery. I also have some coffee beans from the same time that I've yet to grind, and they still have that fresh coffee smell. I gave a lot to my Brother a couple of years ago, but kept a few just in case I started to drink coffee again.
I bought some instant coffe the last time my Brother was over, because he likes coffee, but that had gone all dark and stuck together in the jar, so I had to throw that away.
The ground coffee isn't decaffeinated, but I might buy some instant decaff instead. That might be a way to ease myself back in.

Yes, there won't be nearly as much demand for that i3 as there was for the i7 that I bought, but someone might buy it to build a cheap computer, or repair an older one.
I think I might be asking too much, but I'm not in any rush, and someone might bite?

Is that the betting for the next CBB eviction, or for the winner?
I would have thought it would be Jedward or Speidi for the winner?

oh dear sorry to hear your symptoms got so bad, that you couldn't even settle to watch The Voice. Has the doc advised you increase the meds if you get an attack, or do you just wait awhile to see how it goes?  Good job you managed to eat your special Saturday tea, but how annoying it came back again. Hope it has eased today.

Hope you manage to sell the CPU for a decent price.

Hicky

glad your antibiotics appear to be doing their work well.

That would be lovely if you could get your ailments under control enough to go and visit your brother. A bit of warm sun would do you good. Did he work over there, or did  he just retire? Did he buy a house there? The show I watch, a lot of them buy caravans and live on a site, as they have lots of company.

Glad you enjoyed your curry. I think potatoes suit a curry a lot more than rice does.

That's good you are sleeping well on your new mattress.

Nice and dry here again today, but not as sunny. Managed to take doggie a little walk down seafront before I looked after my mum this afternoon. She ate well. The carers told me they are working till 10pm tonight, then are getting mum up in the morning at 7.45! They work such long hours, but are so friendly.

Looking forward to CBB, watching the Dance show now.

Wonder who wil be next to go?

I'd like to see Jamie or Nicola go. I think Nicola was horrid to Jedward again last night. Speidi caught her out being sly, she was too scared to square up to them, so took it out on Jedward when they only pointed out to her the chicken was coming up to its date. She obviously couldn't wait to get in the diary room for the usual tears she has when she has been caught out game playing.

And as for Jamie...yuck what a sleazeball he is...."come back when you are a 10!" about Jessica! Flip me, she is beautiful, and who he is he to talk? He is no prince charming himself!

No point in Stacy having regrets now, she should of worked out the repurcusions when she pressed the button to keep herself in. Poor Chloe though.

Have a good evening both xxx

M

Hi Mollie.
Glad you managed a seafront walk with the dog.

I take ibuprofen when I have symptoms. It is an anti-inflammatory so usually eases it, but sometimes takes more than one dose.
Haven't tried increasing the prescription meds up to now. It makes me dizzy at times, so don't really want to bring on more dizziness. But I could do if necessary.

Think I want Speidi out next.

emptybox

Evening Both.

Didn't do a lot today, weather ok really, 6c and sunny.

Cooked a Slab of Brisket this afternoon, had some of that on sandwiches for tea.

Emptybox, Oh, ESP, thats not nice, i suppose it will come back again, well it will if the fault reappears, yes (electronic stability program) it seems it's what keeps the car driving properly when traction is lost on the wheels.

You think there are sensors that are to do with stability, oh, never heard of that.

If the coffee gets damp from being in a kitchen etc then as you say, it sets into a big block, can't really use it like that.

James Cosmo in on top to win, with Stacy at the bottom, i think there are 8 up this week.

Mollie, My Brother moved to Spain when he retired, he is only renting i think but he loves it, he pops back now and again to see his daughters etc.

I might make some Chapati's tomorrow, it's hard to find time to do anything with all these tv programs during the day.

All CBB Hm's seem to be horible at one time or another, maybe thats the only way to get air time on the main show, it works of course.

I'm not really getting behind any of them, i quite like Bianca having seen her on programs before.

All teh fellers have let me down so not bothered about them.

At least you got down the seafront with the dog.

Watching tv this morning about the burnt toast or spuds etc, i did knew that but people don't take much notice, also about not keeping the raw spuds in the fridge as the starch turns to Sugar. https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/ar...food-safely-potatoes

Hicky

both

Emptybox

I hope you are feeling a bit better today, and the discomfort has eased off... it is such a nuisance that the side effect of the meds is dizziness, but at least you can take the ibuprofen.

I really hope your theory about the van is correct and it doesn't play you up again. You could do without any more garage costs! Did you work today? I was wondering if that strenous job you did recently had set off your condition? Did you drink enough whilst doing it and after?

Hicky

that is interesting how your brother retired to Spain. I have heard it is very cheap to live over there, and cheap to rent, so hopefully his pension goes further over there. Which part did he go to? And flights from Spain aren't expensive for him to come back to see his family.

I like Jeward, as you know, and from the girls I quite like Jessica. The "in" crowd do seem quick to pick on her when she is only trying to be nice to them. eg Callum telling her off when she was being nice to Nicola.

Yes i heard on tv about the burnt toast thing, better stick to light toast then, but I like crisps and roasts, so not sure how well done you can have them? Interesting about raw spuds in the fridge, I always store mine in the fridge, as I find they can go green if I don't. So confusing all this is.

I am glad that there are lots of HM's up, makes it more interesting.

Hope Nicola or Jamie go.

Don't mind the others, not too keen on Callum though

Not a bad day here today, washing half dried on the line, and took dog a walk.

Have a good evening, enjoy the show both

xxx

M

Evening both.
A little frosty to start, but another dull day after.
Didn't do much, apart from sitting in front of the computer.
Only very minor symptoms today, and nothing tonight.

Don't think the job was to blame? I don't usually get symptoms in the summer when I'm working all the time. But you never know.
Don't drink as much in winter right enough. But I took a flask of decaff green tea with me.

Didn't go out in the van today, so don't know if it'll behave. I'll probably go out tomorrow, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Yes Hicky, all these electronic systems are worked with sensors. Think there's a sensor in each wheel to tell the system what speed that wheel is going round at.
When I googled, one of the answers suggested mud on a sensor. But then others suggested more serious things, so I'll have to see. Hopefully it'll be the simplest thing.

Must be great living in Spain, although I think they've had the economic downturn worse than here? But you get the sun as compensation.

Heard that about the burnt food. I like lightly done toast and don't often have roast potatoes. But I do have oven chips, and I usually take a bag of crisps with me for lunch, so maybe I should cut down on them? Trouble is I enjoy them.

Glad you got washing dry and a walk Mollie.
Speidi, Jedward or Stacy to go for me.

emptybox

Evening Both.

Not bad today, 7c with some sunny spells, no wind again.

Didn't do much today, O/H cooked a chicken for tea, i'll finish the beef off tomorrow.

got an appointment in the morning to get my feet done, then Thursday i'm at the hospital.

Mollie, I'm pretty sure he's in Fuerteventura, going by the phone number.

The eviction will be interesting with so many up today, no idea who will go really as they might save some then carry on with voting.

I don't think roasts and chips, crisps are a problem as long as the outer skin doesn't burn, it's the burning that turns it into bad stuff.

Emptybox, Glad the symptoms eased, strange what is causing them.

That system seems very strange, to rely on sensors which can be contaminated with mud seems crazy to me, it's like an afterthought as any logic system would have the sensors built into part of the wheel control that doesn't get mud on it.

It think normal cooking of food is safe, if it burns then don't eat it, simple.

I think Stacy could go, she is fave in the betting.

Hicky

both

Emptybox

that is good that the symptoms are easing. It is so difficult for you to work out what aggravates it. Perhaps it did you good to have a "doing nothing day" in front of your pc?

If you did go out today, I hope the van behaved itself.

Hicky

good idea to not do much today as you have to go about your feet tomorrow and the hospital on Thursday. I wonder if either of those visits deserve a brekkie out?

I'll have to make sure nothing is burnt round the edges now when I cook the tea.

Not a bad day today, bit foggy and frosty this morning. Didn't do much other than the usual endless tidying/cleaning/washing, but did manage to fit a bit of tv in as well.   Must go food shopping tomorrow. As a basic, my family get through 6 pints of milk a day and a loaf of bread each day!

Well the bookies got it right this time and Stacey went. it should be a bit quieter in there now. Glad Jedward stayed as they are my faves.

Have a good evening both xxx

M

Hi both.
Dull day, but no frost.

Went into town to pay a bill, but really it was an excuse to see if the van was OK. It didn't give any problems, but of course that doesn't mean it won't again.
It does seem daft if the sensor is susceptible to mud Hicky. Very silly system if it is.
I can see a connection thing looking behind the wheel, but not sure if that's the sensor or not? There was no mud on it anyway. It might be some other cause entirely though.

Good luck with your feet tomorrow, and then the hospital Hicky.
They say there's a lot of these acrylamides in crisps for some reason, even if they are not burned.
Glad that Stacy went.

Hi Mollie. Glad you could squeeze a bit of TV in.
Gosh, that's a lot of milk in one day? More than a pint each. Even when I was having milk on cereal and in tea and coffee, it would take me several days to get through a pint.

Evening Both.

Not bad today, 7c sunny and no wind.

Went to the foot lady, just had socks on and my sandals, i use them as slippers in the house, the lady was filing some rough skin from my heel, i asked what i should use to do that, my skin is very very dry all year so i just flake continuous, i really need to E45 my whole body but it's too much to do, anyway, she gave me a metal special file that i can use, very nice.

after we got out O/H said, what do you want to do now, i said, go for a pot of tea somewhere, well she noticed a little restaurant nearby that was open, and they did brekkies, in we went, she got a brekkie, i had eaten before we went out so i got an egg Royale, or something, it was ok, with a pot of tea, then she said do we want anything from Costco, well, out i take a piece of paper and a pencil so we can list items, well, Scallops, Chick Wings, Chorizo and a few other necessities and we had finished.

Mollie, Yes, thought Stacy would go, am a bit puzzled with Jedward, at 25 surely they should have grown up a bit.

Wow, thats a load of milk, we may use 1 pint a day as i use Coffee Mate for my coffee, and it's only ÂĢ2.99 for 1kg in Costco., so i keep about 3kg spare.

Emptybox, There are a few different types of sensors, some detect metal, some movement, some are photo cells that usually detect a prong or some object that is moving or turning, some can detect something that comes close to it, i used to use all these different types of sensors, i even used some that could measure how far it was from itself to a metal frame that was passing, i had to check if a metal skid had been ground away within say +/- 3mm.

I'm just hoping my water stays nice and clear now the Antibio's have finished, sleeping ok anyway, no pains etc, will have to see how it goes tomorrow with the consultant, not sure if it's just a chat or what?

glad the van was ok when you went out. Yes seems silly if it is mud gives it a problem. It would mean  if you lived on a farm, it would always be a problem! Very annoying for you though as you can't work out what is causing it. Try not to get too stressed out about it though, at least it was ok today and getting stressed is not good for your condition. How are you now? Hope the recent bout of illness has cleared.

You said you take ibuprofen (rather than paracetomol?), is that because ibuprofen is best for muscular things, your is a muscular type pain? I ask you because lately my rib aches have been bad when I do a lot. Tonight I needed my hot water bottle, TENS machine, and couldn't decide whether to take paracetomol or ibuprofen. I decided to go for ibuprofen as I think that may be best for muscular pain? It has eased now whilst I am resting though. (might be the tablets helping too.)

Hicky

glad te foot visit went well and they were helpful. I thought you might go out for a little snack/drink after. Did they have any free food samples when you went to Costco? I love those.

I hope all goes well for you appointment with the consultant tomorrow. At least it sounds like the anti biotics have done you good.

Exhausted tonight after lots of things to sort for mum first thing, then house jobs, then food shopping, then make the family meal on my own as daughter has an assignment due. The pain in my ribs starts (like today) when I don't sit down enough, so that is what is so tiring. Time to sit for awhile now and enjoy CBB. Thank goodness.

Yes we get through a lot of milk, one of my lads has a bit mug of milk with every meal he has, even brekkie. Everyone else has cereal and son has huge mug of ovaltien before bed. He is so thin, he needs the calories though!

Enjoy the show,

yes Hicky Jeward do behave immature, but I think they are only trying to entertain themselves to pass time and keep away from all the loud rows. But I think they are harmless and I am fascinated by their lovely outfits.

Goodnight both xxx
