you gotta be all man to wear pink lycra with confidence!
a bit sleazy hiding it under a trench coat    I think that was probably one of the funniest things I've ever read   a 6 foot something viking vampire wearing a trench coat and pink lycra

but then again he did run through the woods trying to herd a pig as a tribute for the maenad with some wine - pity True blood won't show that

Yum Errrriiiicccc!!!

OK there's one thing I don't get - Vamps stay the same as they are when they are made which is why Bill has those ridiculous sideburns so how comes in the second series Eric has short hair yet when he was 'made' he had shoulder length hair like he does in that picture that Mufmeister posted?  Has something happened that we don't know of that allows a 1000 year old vamp to cut his hair

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!! They are twisting the story on a fundemental level now!!! Eric was galant...  he didn't get Bills maker bitchface on the scene!!!   NO NO NO NO NO NO! *feels like an outraged Harry Potter teenfan!
It's irritating me as well but then I try to separate the series from the books and think of the series as being only loosely based on them.

I mean Jason doesn't get involved with the Fellowship of the sun   they are also missing the humour from Eric - they've got him as a one dimensional persona - Mr Nasty Vampire which he can be but he has many facets to his personality

I also felt there was not enough Eric in last nights episode for me either   and they haven't made Bill insipid enough and selfish, which he ultimately is

I can cope with a lot of the story changes... in fact most of them I think are quite good - they work for it being on the telly.

But I have a niggly feeling that they don't want Bills character to fade into the background as it does in the books...  and they aren't going to show Eric for the honey he is, so as to keep Bills character the leading male role.

In which case they have basically changed it on a fundemental basis!

I notice that apart from the maenad and Sam & Daphne the shape shifters they haven't introduced any weres or witches or other supes  yet!  I hope they do soon.  Apparently we won't see Bubba either as his estate have refused permission

Eric looked particularly sinister again last night - not that I'm complaining   and they've got Stan Davis acting like he's a fruit loop  although as Ed Quinn is playing him I'll forgive them for that.

These last two episodes have been a bit of an anticlimax so I'm hoping next weeks is better - especially as Godric should play centre stage

I Love it at the moment.

the turning point was last week... and ... as have seen the rest of the series I have decided I love the tv adaptation of it.

I know there are some huge changes Pengy....  I can live with most of them... just not the ramboing up of Bill...and the putting down of Eric...

But season 3 promises to play catch up on some of the lagging story lines....

We have Hadley & Sophie Ann & an all that to come..

AND QUINN!!!  wooohooo

and the weres... and the were panthers.....  I hope!

You're still posting in here! I just never check my ticker these days (it's full of bar-room banter!)

Wasn't it a great episode? As I've said before (or it may have been elsewhere), I'm getting sick of the Maryann orgy stuff and the meat totem pole she was creating truly made me think of becoming a vegetarian!

It was thin on vampire action (yes Ditty... I'm indeed coming over to the dark side of the dark side as you predicted!). But combat-Jason and Andy were supreme! The fake Bacchus was hilarious culminating in Sam's desperate requests to be 'smite'...

But who is the Queen who Bill visits at the end?!

OMG Eric dressed in a skirt and  blouse  and still looking manly how hot was that

Teapot humans - love it   as next Friday is the last episode of season 2 I'm supposing the maenad will meet her end and not before time

I shall look forward to my box set of series 1 and 2 arriving as well as Generation Kill as Eric was a solider in the American army in another life   didn't realise it was him (saw the series on FX ages ago) until someone mentioned it

I'm also waiting for the new Sookie Stackhouse novel to be released in the UK - have pre-ordered with Amazon

I watched generation kill ...   I don't remember eric.

I don't wanna see it.    I don't like my hotties when they are shown out of character.

Life got bloody hard for me for a while... trying to avoid seeing Robert Pattinson interviewed.  I would go all  and run out of the room.

And.... there are whole sections of Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire where I have to squint to blur it a bit.
