I see that Efrem Zimbailist jnr died a couple of days ago aged 95. He was the lead in the long running series The F.B.I (1965-1974) which is its day was one of the top crime series from the States, much as CSI and NCIS is now.

The series did have quite a number of film stars from the past and also ones who would become well known later. For instance the credits shown above include Gene Hackman. Over the years people such as Burt Reynolds, Michael Douglas, Jeff Bridges, also his brother Beau, Diane Keaton, and Mark Hamill 5 years before Star Wars.
