Well, they have made it into a drama starring Sheridan Smith. I know some of you like real life gritty dramas and this may be of interest.

It's on BBC One on Tuesday night.

It's written by Neil McKay who also wrote the script for See No Evil: The Moors Murders and also Appropriate Adult (about Fred and Rose West).

I didn't watch either of those and I'm not watching The Moorside either.

She's 18 now, and suspect that fact's not unconnected with the programme being made now... ninja

Having said that, the makers are insisting that it's about the community reaction rather than Shannon herself.

I won't be watching it either, but I doubt I would be anyway. I didn't watch "Appropriate Adult", but did watch "See No Evil" and rather regretted it...

Oh! The Boss insisted we watch it tonight. I managed to complete both crosswords and t'sudoku whilst it was on. It sounded embarrassing though but.
