ha ha, who are the people on this show?  I'm not as well up on BB as I used to be but still...

I only recognised Emma and a few of the old lags behind her.

Not you too!   That Cosi one just buggers off to the sun and forgets all about us.

Not going until late Sept Kaffs, but we want a few days in Istanbul this time, so wanted to get schedule flights booked well in advance, (when they're cheaper,) and also hotel of choice

Ah, right. Emma said they were from "the valleys", but I just assumed she was referring to them being Welsh- I'd never heard of the show.

BTW: like "Geordie Shore", "The Valleys" is an MTV show. MTV is owned by Viacom, who now also own C5...

Yeah, I hadn't heard of it either - I googled Welsh Girls and Geordie Shore (because they seemed the type!)

I thought it was still owned by that porny guy who owns the Daily Express (is that still going?), the Daily Star and Health lottery.

I have a friend with hair just like hers. Our hairdresser keeps begging me to talk her into letting them cut it and style it, but she wont have any of it. It's a mess.

My twin sis lives on the Turkish coast Bethni, so I'm a v regular visitor We'll have 12 days with maybe a 3/4 day gulet cruise with her and some friends, then 3 days in Istanbul before we fly home, hence having to be a bit more organised and book internal flight to Istanbul and flight home

Yeah, I have to admit that I'm a bit sketchy on the legal details here.

Northern & Shell (Dirty Desmond's company who also own the Daily Star, OK, etc) agreed to sell C5 to Viacom in May this year (IIRC, Desmond wanted £700 million, but only got £450 million). The deal still has to get regulatory approval though, so yes: technically Desmond still owns C5.

We have started to see a lot Viacom shows promoted on BB, though...

Stick pics of Judi's rat tails on all of her mirrors and she might change her mind

I probably watch more C5 since Desmond took over than I did before.  There's a lot of adverts for the tawdry Star and the Health Lottery adds are on all the time.  I guess Desmond must have a tie in with Eddie bloody Stobart too.  Can't believe they're allowed to have a program named after a private concern.

I watched "The Wright Stuff" with Matthew Wright moaning about the BBC advertising Dr Who during the World Cup.  I think he needs to look a bit closer to home!

Verbatim quote from Channel 5 press release today: "All Housemates in the Alliance will be immune from eviction"

So not only are the producers lying to the housemates, they're also now lying to the public. Do @channel5_tv @bbuk have no shame? #bbuk

Just 'cause this needs repeating, @bbuk actually lied to us - quote: "All Housemates in the Alliance will be immune from eviction" #bbuk

It's way beyond a joke Rosie .....I mean it's always been open to manipulation since they stopped LF ...but C5 have taken it to a whole new level Total farce , and basically unwatchable after last night !
