I read the link earlier today but forgot to comment.

It was really interesting, Jen. I like reading books and watching programmes about the Homefront in Britain during WW2 and how it affected the lives of ordinary people. It was interesting to hear things from the German lady's perspective.

I think that the "Nazi" label is still applied to all Germans during the war,when in fact when they first got into power (Nazis) attacked many Germans  who were dead against them.Communists,religious leaders,intellectuals etc who spoke against them.Then the horrors of "cleansing" etc.Handicapped kids and the so called keeping the race pure...horrible madness.
