I don't know who you were listening to, JC and JM aren't backtracking on anything, they are totally committed to starting these policies if they get into power. I reckon for the poorest in society and for the sake of the NHS alone it's well worth the risk. But, at least the LP are putting people forward to discuss policies, May's campaign is being run by a Trump advisor and is totally silent on figures, cost and in will only answer vetted questions
